IMG_6877

Looking for an easy, quick, and thrifty lunch option?  Look no further!

Buttered Noodles with a

Side of Fresh Fruit or Vegetables

Cook one (~12 oz.)  package of egg noodles or similar in a large pot of salted, BOILING water until noodles are tender.

Drain noodles.  Add 1/2 stick of butter and salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with fresh fruit or vegetables!

Not much labor or time involved, and my children love it!

  2. My mom always made this with butter and italian herbs, it is wonderful with a tiny amount of garlic and then s & p to taste. I like your idea for lunch, we always used it as a side dish for dinner. :)
